After many successful years working in the City, I decided to pursue my passion in property. I wanted to create a company, known for providing down-to-earth, common-sense advice and operating with integrity - welcome to Property Venture,^® an overseas property agency which helps people buy investment property abroad.

I set out to establish a small company, that could stay close to clients. Being big can sometimes bring burdensome overheads and with it, pressure to bring in volume sales, thereby compromising standards. In essence I wanted to create a company, that gives the kind of Overseas Property advice, I would want to receive.

We guide through the overseas property buying process, so it is less hassle for you.

For our clients this service might consist of: 

• acting as a sounding board on where to invest
• facilitating the appropriate investment decision, for each individual (given their circumstances, aspirations and risk profile)
• providing the names of banks who lend to foreign nationals and/or introductions to a UK-based mortgage broker
• introduction to a rental/management agent in chosen market
• supplying the names of firms who provide relevant, independent, legal advice
• connecting you with translators (where appropriate)

We are a professional agent and are overseas members of the professional body: National Association of Estate Agents, the NAEA This means we have been subjected to the membership criteria and have signed up to follow the professional Code of Conduct, established to help potential investors buy property with confidence.

Our investment opportunities range from under £50,000 (e.g. a studio apartment in Bulgaria) to larger property investment opportunities for, say a prime site in a city centre, such as Warsaw in Poland, or a seaside holiday Villa in Cyprus.

A “venture” is an undertaking that involves balancing the rewards, or potential profit, with the risks. We are independent and as such are able to offer a broad range of properties to suit a range of risk profiles. We are not tied to offering just those properties of a sister, or parent company. We are also only happy dealing with reputable developers and agents, since we believe that is the way you will want to do business.

We like to be thorough and do our due diligence before you get involved. This may include keeping up to speed with what is happening in the markets, attending property conferences, checking out developers and developments, finding suitable partners to work with, making country visits, finding out what else is on the market, checking pricing, profiling markets and economies as well as finding out what it is, you are loking for.

And we would like to do business with you more than once, if you want to invest again. So we want you to make the "right" property investment or property venture decision.

We offer a practical, reliable service to the novice and more experienced investor, whether someone is looking for a buy-to-let property abroad, build up an investment portfolio, possibly to supplement pension provision, or buy a second home.
