Investment in any product, be it stocks or shares, sustainable woods and/or forests, or property of any type is always a venture with upsides and risks.  The value of any investment can go up or down.

The good thing about investing in property is that whatever the monetary value, you will always own an asset.

An asset is tangible, providing a security against which further investment may be taken - in addition if your property asset is a residence or a commercial property, then it should always return an income against your investment, in addition to increasing in value overall.

We strongly advise that, once you have purchased or part purchased a property overseas, you seek legal advice with regard to an in-country will or, as a minimum, register the newly acquired asset within your extant UK will.
