Hello
Welcome to the January 2010 edition of Property Venture's monthly e-newsletter, for opted-in subscribers, providing you with updates and news from the places we help people buy in.

This month we feature:

  • Snow shouldn't distract us
  • Poland - the European economic Gem & property feature
  • Morocco - holiday aspirations
  • 2010 - The top property markets
  • Top Tips on investing in 2010
  • Special offer-what you need to know about investing and renting abroad

Introduction - 2010 already ?
Firstly a Joyous and prosperous New 2010 to you all.

It's snowing and the weather is distracting us from economic and property news for a bit. But let's reflect on some positive news. This time last year £-Stirling was weaker than today and the financial mortgage squeeze seemed a bit worse. We are still awash with "Experts" forecasting the year and decade ahead.

I shall resist forecasting too much, as many of these "Experts" got it particularly wrong over the last 12 months. Not many foresaw the -4.75% GDP growth in the UK, 0.5% interest rates and 1.9% inflation rate. Economic Perspectives and Hermes (they make scarves don't they?) topped the list of best forecasters.

Hotspots

But I will say that Poland is set to outstrip many European countries as a place to invest, with the best economic performance of all the EU countries. Read more

Morocco is muscling in as a great holiday home destination. It shares the same coastline as Spain, but without all the same levels of development. Read more of its prospects here
